THE HIDDEN GEM OF ARIZONA
Arcosanti is a world famous urban laboratory that explores the experiential and educational benefits of integrating Architecture and Ecology into the concept of Arcology. We encourage everyone attending to explore the grounds, learn about the community, purchase a world-famous Soleri bell from the gift shop and get a chance to meet the beautiful sprawling landscape of Arcosanti that we love so much.
The 25 acres that encompass Arcosanti rests between two valleys, offering amazing cliff side views that showcase the gorgeous Arizona desert at its best. The unique structural features accentuate the natural beauty of the surroundings, but also make for slightly more rustic conditions than most weddings. Most of the nuptial activities will be happening in highly accessible areas, although you will likely run into an unfinished pathway and more than a few stairs during our time together at Arco.
We ask that you also please be respectful of your surroundings while at Arcosanti. This amazing eco-city is more than just a venue for our beautiful day – it is home to a small but passionate community of people that live and work in this ongoing experiment of sustainability, architecture and experience. The Arco community is kind enough to open up their home to us, and we would like our guests to treat Arcosanti as if it were their own home.
WEATHER UPDATE:
BRING A JACKET
Arcosanti is usually 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix at night in early April. We expect the temperature to dip below 60° once the sun goes down, and for the brisk cliffside winds to make it feel even chillier.
Although the beautiful archway where the ceremony and the reception will be held is covered, the venue is otherwise entirely open air. We will provide some heaters and plenty of dancing to warm up your cold toes, but we really want everyone to come prepared for the conditions so they enjoy themselves.
(We promise, nobody will be offended if you change into something warmer at some point…)

Please be aware of your surroundings while at Arcosanti. Arcosanti is an amazing place but it does come with some challenges: cliffs, cacti, coyotes, critters and other menacing desert creatures… Arco can be a dangerous place at times if you don’t mind your P’s & Q’s (& C’s), so Please Be Extra Careful.
